WELCOME
We invite you to wake up in the mornings to soft, gentle breezes and the smell of fine coffee brewing downstairs.
Pheasant Valley’s Bed & Breakfast and Winery are nestled in the heart of the scenic Columbia River Gorge. We are just 60 miles east of Portland and minutes from downtown Hood River.
You and your guests can enjoy kayaking, fishing, windsurfing, biking, water-skiing, river rafting or shopping all within a short distance. Of course, you may opt to relax and enjoy the views at the winery while tasting some of our excellent wines.
Bed & Breakfast:
In 2000, Scott and Gail converted their country farm house into a Bed & Breakfast which features three rooms with private baths in a very elegant but casual setting. The Comice suite is the favorite for honeymooners with its own private deck, Mount Hood view, and Jacuzzi bath.
OUR ORCHARD
In 1979, we found and settled 40 acres of fertile soil in the Hood River Valley and began developing and growing our very fine pears and apples. We grow and ship eight varieties of organic pears and apples: Bartlett, Red Bartlett, D' Anjou, Red D' Anjou, Bosc and Comice pears; Red Delicious and Golden Delicious apples. We are proud of our Oregon Tilth certification for organic pears and apples. Our fruit is picked at the perfect moment, gently packed and shipped to guarantee freshness upon arrival.
We also have 18 acres of young grapes which will someday provide juice for our winery.
Our grapes and fruit trees are watered by pure, fresh glacier water, direct from the slopes of Mt. Hood. (No petro chemicals, or any other contaminants!)
